I'm writing this blog to bring not only surfing hot spots and pics, etc., but also Snow-Boarding and X-Games, as well as 2-man Beach Volleyball info and pics. Did you know that there are local beginning beach volleyball tournaments that anyone can sign up for. Read on! These 2 waves were both from Ave F, Redondo Beach on a slow day (Good things come to those who wait). It not that often when you catch "The Avenues with shape like this dude's rippin'.
Of course in winter you can get a lot more action out of The Avenues, and surrounding local spots, even a world class point break not so far away. BURNOUTS December 16, 2008, Da Hui was out - we had shoulder high waves with some good shape in the afternoon. A small west swell hit from a storm in Hawaii.

Where abouts is this spot, and how consistent is it? Thanks Bro.
The Avenues are not always shaping up that well. When it gets big it can wall up unless conditions are just right. You can go to Topaz Jetty, or sometimes Burnouts (at Ave I), or Rat Beach (at the end of Torrance Beach) will shape up.
